PREPARING FOR THE GRE

You have various options with us to prepare for the GRE:

GRE REVIEW Course
Limited to ten (10) students. For those who need to review the type of
math on the GRE and to learn the basic strategies for the Math, Verbal,
and Analytical Writing sections. Particularly useful for people who
have been out of school for a while, who have not taken exams recently,
or who were never strong in math.
Three hour classes meet typically once a week for eight weeks in the
GRE REVIEW COURSE.
The eight classes are
* Arithmetic and Algebra Problems.
* Word Problems.
* Geometry Problems.
* Graphs and Math Shortcuts.
* Quantitative Comparison Problems.
* Antonyms, Analogies, and Sentence Completion Questions.
* Reading Comprehension.
* Analytical Writing Questions and General Test-taking Strategies.
With twenty-four hours of classes, the GRE REVIEW COURSE offers ample
time to review not only the material covered in the GRE but also
test-taking skills and strategies, including very practical hints and
shortcuts on how to answer the questions.
From lectures interlaced with questions/ answers, students gain a
general overview of the material and basic strategies to answer the
multiple choice questions. In brief GRE simulations, they practice how
to best approach the problems for themselves. And in the group
discussions that follow, they refine their techniques in finding
solutions to the questions.
Students are allowed to attend all or part of the GRE REVIEW COURSE a second time for free!
Students are welcomed to sit in on one class free without any obligation!
Students get free practice time on our computers using official GRE software!

The Selective Class Option
For people who are strong in some areas, but who need help only in
certain aspects of the GRE. Particularly good for people who already
know where their strengths lie, and and who only want to work on the
areas that are not strong.
Students choose for themselves which of the eight classes in the GRE
REVIEW COURSE they wish to attend.
INDIVIDUAL TUTORING
For anybody, from basic to advanced level, who wants personal attention
to address his/her own needs and questions. Particularly good for
people who prefer learning at an individual pace, or who have many
specific questions (e.g., after working on several recent exams).
Personalized tutoring sessions with one of our two professional
instructors are scheduled at mutually convenient times. Students choose
the material they wish to cover.
SCHEDULING
Courses are ongoing, 6:30 - 9:30 PM. However, class size is limited to
only 10 people! On occasion, we have scheduled classes at an additional
day and time, if demand warranted it. Just contact us for more info.

FEES
COURSE: $795.
* Selective Classes: $130/class
INDIVIDUAL TUTORING: $75/hr. ($45/hr for people in the course).
